Finish of the bioPLA material

Assembly
Where assembly between pieces is required, we recommend using cyanoacrylate glue for a quick and strong bond (Glue 21, available in the Accessories category, is perfect). We recommend lightly sanding the parts to be glued.

Sanding
Normally not necessary, but if you want to reduce the streaking effect, you can roughen with 240/320 grit sandpaper and then work your way up to finer grits, up to 1000 for the final sanding. We recommend wetting the sandpaper or wetting the piece with cold water to avoid overheating the surface, as the PLA material could become brittle at high temperatures.
The use of power tools for sanding is not recommended.

Painting
Use acrylic paints in the desired color with a matte finish (for concrete, RAL 7035 gray). For a more uniform surface, we recommend using an airbrush or spray can. You can apply multiple coats until you're satisfied, letting them dry between coats.
