Finish of the bioPLA material

Requires quick assembly. It is equipped with joints for easy and precise positioning. Use cyanoacrylate glue for fast and resistant fixing. We recommend lightly sanding the parts to be glued.

To mitigate the streaking effect, start by roughing with 180/240 grit sandpaper and continue with finer grits, up to 1000 for the final sanding. It is advisable to moisten the sandpaper or wet the piece with cold water to avoid overheating the surface too much, as the PLA material may not mix at high temperatures.
The use of power tools for sanding is not recommended.

Painting with Primer: after cleaning and drying the piece, use an acrylic-based spray primer, white or light grey. Also useful for further leveling the surface. Give at least 2 light passes. Once dry it can also be sanded with 600/800 grit paper. The process can be repeated until you are satisfied, but without exaggerating.
Final painting: use acrylic products of the desired color with a matt finish (for concrete, gray RAL 7035). To obtain a more uniform surface, the use of an airbrush or spray can is highly recommended. You can apply multiple coats until you are satisfied, let it dry between coats.
